26. Ensure vehicle is prepared to return to customer per school/company policy (floor mats, steering wheel cover, etc.).
Yeah I would just go thru the entire car and make sure that everything is the way I found it.
25. Complete work order to include customer information, vehicle identifying information, customer concern, related service history, cause, and correction
I have done this by filling one out back in high school at the CCISD. with the help of MR John Hanold and Jefferey Lamuth.
24. Review vehicle service history.
Review it on all data or pro demand by typing in the vehicle id number.
23. Demonstrate use of the three C’s (concern, cause, and correction).
customer concern, verify it by asking for the cause and taking it for a rip to verify it. correction, you simply correct the problem.
22. Identify purpose and demonstrate proper use of fender covers, mats.
The purpose is to not scratch the customer's car while you are working on it. I have demonstrated knowlege about this by watching youtube videos on the subject.
21. Identify information needed and the service requested on a repair order
customer complaint, verify complaint, fill out car info, give a quote, fix car, verify problem is fixed.
20. Demonstrate proper use of precision measuring tools (i.e. micrometer, dial-indicator, dial-caliper).
I accomplished this by using a micrometer in math class and passing the micrometer test. Also in AUT 166 we used calipers and dial indicators to measure runout and width etc.
